Neptune Wellness Appoints Former Walmart Executive to Lead Two Divisions
- Neptune Wellness Solutions has appointed a former Walmart executive to take charge of two of their divisions.
- Robert DiPede served at Walmart as the director of territory and global export sales.
- DiPede will be responsible for driving sales for new and existing products developed by the company’s new division.
The Laval, Quebec-based hemp processor, Neptune Wellness Solutions, has recently appointed a former executive from Walmart to take lead on two of their divisions. The former Walmart executive, Robert DiPede, will be the head of Neptune Wellness’ Biodroga business unit along with taking the role as senior vice president of their newly-formed Health and Wellness Innovation Division.
DiPede brings with him over 20 years of experience of driving business-to-consumer along with business-to-business sales of consumer packaged goods and health and wellness products. This includes national retail chains, e-commerce, and food and drug mass retailers.
At Walmart, DiPede served as director of territory and global export sales. He led a team consisting of sales professionals in domestic, global, and e-commerce sales. During his time there, his team delivered $1 billion in revenue.
Now working for Neptune Wellness, DiPede will work to drive sales for new and existing hemp products that are developed by the company’s new division that he will lead.

Meeting Market Demands
Neptune Wellness Solutions’ new division is quickly bringing new products to the market that are in demand. A few of their newer products include an oximeter that measures the level of oxygen in the blood, a non-contact thermometer, and hand sanitizer products.
