CBD Living Water Review: An Accidental Find

Drinking CBD Living Water

As I roamed about one of the random retail stories in a mall located in Erie, Pennsylvania earlier this week, I couldn’t help but notice a giant sign proclaiming: “CBD Sold Here!” And based on my experience so far, I was ready to dismiss the information due to the difficulty of finding quality CBD products in small stores with even smaller revenue streams.

However, as I stood the appropriate six feet behind the person checking out in front of me, I glanced up above the register and noticed that they only sold one CBD product: CBD Living Water.

I have tried many different types of CBD products in the past, including oils, topicals, edibles, and even CBD cigarettes; but I had yet to try CBD-infused water. Once the young woman running the register told me the water was “pretty good,” I was sold.

And so began my CBD Living Water review.

About CBD Living Water

CBD Living Water is made using 100% organic hemp CBD extracts combined with nanotechnology that is designed to infuse CBD into their 9+pH water.

Each bottle is 500mL (roughly 16 fluid ounces) of water with 10mg of nano-CBD. This nano-CBD is highly absorbable and has a high level of bioavailability, meaning that it has an active effect almost immediately upon entering your body.

Ingredients include:

  • Proprietary nano hemp extract
  • Purified 9+pH water
  • Potassium Bicarbonate
  • Magnesium sulfate
  • Potassium hydroxide

Nanotechnology

CBD Living uses nanotechnology to infuse their water with CBD. But what is nanotech, you may ask? No, it is not the same nanotech that Tony Stark uses to make his Iron Man suits (RIP, Tony).

Nanotechnology’s technical definition is the “manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale.” In other words, nanotech takes CBD molecules and coats them with lipid nanoparticles to stabilize the CBD and allow it to move through your body faster than normal CBD molecules.

According to Dr. Itzhak Kurek, Ph.D., nano CBD is “a CBD molecule packaged in nano-carriers that are the size of about 100 nanometers — or one-billionth of a meter — which allows the “package” to stay in the body for a longer time and to slowly release the intact CBD in the targeted tissue.”

Dr. Kurek is co-founder and CEO of Cannoformatics, which is a biotech company in Northern California that uses saliva metabolomics technology in order to personalize medical cannabis treatment.

Kurek states that nanotechnology is nothing new, and that it is used to make several popular products, such as:

Initial Thoughts Before Trying CBD Living Water

Prior to entering the store that day, I had participated in an all-day softball tournament. After spending the day alternating between playing and sitting around for hours at a time, I was in need of an anti-inflammatory.

Fate was on my side.

Upon initially looking at the bottle, I was impressed with the labelling. Everything on the label was relevant information that provides information on their process, and nothing printed on the label raised any red flags that you would need to be aware of.

I was not sure what to expect as I twisted the cap off the bottle, but I maintained a positive outlook due to CBD Living’s excellent reputation of producing high-quality CBD products.

What Surprised Me About CBD Living Water

Throughout the whole process, from purchasing the product to recycling the empty bottle afterward, there were several things that surprised me. In this instance, the surprises were all positive and exceeded my original expectations for CBD water.

The three areas I want to elaborate on that surprised me are:

  • The price of CBD Living Water
  • How CBD Living Water tastes
  • What effects I felt from drinking CBD water

Price

Certain CBD products tend to be pricey due to the processing and technology that goes into making them. When I first noticed the water sitting on the counter, I assumed the price would be ridiculous when compared to a normal bottle of water (Aquafina typically goes for around $1.89).

However, at $3.59 per bottle, I couldn’t complain. In fact, good luck finding an individually-sold CBD product for any cheaper than that.

To someone who does not have much experience purchasing CBD products, the price of CBD Living Water may seem high. However, when you consider the complexity of the technology that goes into making it; along with price comparison to other brands, the product carries with it a fairly light price tag.

Taste

If you’re somebody who has tried broad-spectrum CBD oil before, then you’ll understand what I mean when I describe a CBD product’s taste as “hempy.” And thanks to my previous ignorance with CBD-infused water, I was expecting the product to taste like anything but purified water.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn how wrong I was. In fact, I couldn’t taste the CBD at all. If you were to remove the label from the bottle, I would have never known that it possessed CBD in the first place.

And this remained true as I made my way toward the bottom of the bottle. Every drink I took had the same consistent taste and I never once noticed a taste that would make the water unappealing to picky customers.

This definitely plays in the product’s favor because it does not reduce its potential consumers by having an odd taste. As long as you’re fine with the taste of alkaline water, then you’ll love CBD Living Water.

Effects

Like I mentioned above, playing in a softball tournament earlier in the day left me with a lower back ache and a swollen ankle, so I was really banking on this CBD water to work as advertised.

Within minutes of drinking nearly half the bottle in one swig, I began feeling the tension in my lower back diminish. After around 30 minutes or so, the pain in my back was reduced significantly.

The swelling in my ankle may have gone down a little bit as well, but I was wearing tightly-laced sneakers that made it hard to tell. Whatever the case may be, my ankle was not bothering me a bit.

The nano CBD in the water is specifically designed to provide fast results, so it comes as no surprise that it began to show results within minutes. I’m a big fan of products that prove themselves early on, and CBD Living Water did just that.

Only One Con

Out of everything I experienced throughout my CBD Living Water review,, the only thing I found unfavorable was how long the effects lasted. However, in defense of CBD Living’s nanotechnology process, I was dehydrated more than normal and most likely absorbed the water and CBD at a faster rate.

With that being said, it should be expected that people who are dehydrated will be drinking water. I personally felt the CBD’s effectiveness begin to wear off after just a couple of hours.

There is always the option of just drinking more water, but it would be nice for a bottle to last you at least half the day so that you don’t have to re-stock as often.

Overall Rating

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall, I’m giving CBD Living Water four out five stars. It’s great taste, price, and fast results make it the perfect CBD product for people on the go. And it can also prove useful for people working from a desk who need that little bit of extra mental focus.

I also find the product’s pre-measured CBD dose to be very convenient because it helps you keep a better record on how much CBD you use in a day.

CBD Living sells their water individually or in cases of 24.

Conclusion

I’ve got to hand it to the girl working the register; the CBD Living Water was pretty good. Since trying this product, I have made sure to keep some stocked in my fridge because it helps keep me focused at work.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who lives a busy lifestyle but wants to add CBD to their regimen. It’s the perfect way to stay hydrated while also getting a pre-measured dose of CBD running through your body. If you haven’t tried yet, you seriously need to.
